In The Studio

Peter's original for score for the circus documentary Circus Dreams is done. Stay tuned for a release date. The score will be released on CD when the film is released.

The original score for Circus Smirkus was released on CD by Cirkestra.The 14 song CD Swing is available everywhere now. Also iTunes.

The players you hear on Swing are tapped from Bufano's travels across the country with such shows as Ringling Brother's Barnum and Bailey, Bindlestiff Cirkus, Circus Smirkus, and The Big Apple Circus. There's an obvious big band swing slant on this, Cirkestra's 4th release in as many years. But there's also the usual dose of the group's quirky, angular, gypsy, klezmer, influenced tunage. Circus music veterans Sam Lett, Käthe Louise Hostetter, and Mike Dobson return to center stage in this recording.
